AN auction house has won its fight to return to Banbury after a long planning battle.
Public support was a major factor in JS Auctions being given permission to once again operate from Cotefield House in Bodicote after it was forced to move to Bicester in 2007 due to Cherwell District Council’s reluctance to allow it to operate in a rural location.
What do you think? Are you please to see JS Auctions return to its established home?

how wonderful it adds character to Banbury when you come through and find it has an auction, I have been personally and bought a beautiful little table hope to return soon and find more bargains best to go with an idea, otherwise you could get carried away and buy every secondhand bed insight or something as ridiculous
Hope to go on saturday. The council have made the right choice it is good for the town. Good luck J.S. Auctions

Common sense has prevailed at last!
There was not one logical reason why the local authority pursued this matter and all the officers involved in the refusal of planning permission ought to be severely censured for wasting so much of our money.
